Built at the turn of the century as a "seasonal" cottage, the house has welcomed guests and residents for a century. As you enter the doors of the Inn at Ragged Gardens Bed and Breakfast, warmth and beauty abound. Architectural craftsmanship at its finest is displayed throughout.

You will marvel at the stone columns and stone floors. The spacious living room is alive with a relaxed luxury and grace which is complemented by many antiques, chestnut paneled walls, stone fireplace and staircase.

Folding wormy chestnut doors invite you into the chestnut paneled reading room with a wine nook, yet another fireside setting within which to acquaint one's self with a great author.

The glass enclosed dining room is truly a gracious setting for the morning's breakfast, accompanied by the sights and sounds which whisper from the formal rock-walled garden.

Gourmet breakfasts prepared fresh each morning consist of the chef's wonderfully homemade granola cereals and baked breads, and choice of two hot entrees incorporating herbs and flowers organically grown from the inn's gardens.

Each bed and breakfast guest room, with its own special ambiance, is complete with Queen or King beds, ceiling fan, air conditioning, goosedown comforter & pillows, bathrobes (soft as cashmere), fireplace and private bath, insuring your comfort and relaxation.
